At the Katy Music Teachers Association General Meeting on February 17, 2016, Dr. James Cho and his wife performed and introduced our music teachers to collaborative Piano through Suzuki String Repertoire. It is something that we, as private music teachers, may not always include in our lessons but can be important for the students to learn to listen and play collaboratively with other students.
Dr. Cho took us through various selections of classical music that we could combine our students to play together. The Katy Music Teachers enjoyed some wonderful excerpts of pieces that could be played with violin and piano. It was a wonderful class and performance by Dr. Cho and his wife.
